Planning services are typically more comprehensive in nature, addressing topics outside strictly investment allocation. Investment management begins by focusing on the amount of risk and taking advantage of various tax-savings strategies along the way. Investment management includes the purchase and monitoring of specific securities to populate your portfolio.
The fee is based on the actual assets managed and starts at 1.1% on the first $500,000 of assets under management. The fee is then reduced on a tiered schedule on managed assets above $500,000. Fees are calculated, invoiced, and paid quarterly. Oftentimes, clients choose to pay their fees directly from their investment accounts.
Yes. The minimum amount of assets Tassel Capital will manage at the beginning of the relationship is generally $500,000. This limit is in place to protect our capacity to provide a very high level of service to our clients.
Not usually. We typically implement diversified investment strategies using mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”). These investment vehicles allow us to diversify a portfolio more efficiently and provide a sophisticated investment allocation compared to trying to buy individual stocks of companies across global markets.
Tassel Capital cannot manage assets inside the 401k of an active participant. Even so, we take a holistic approach to an investor’s portfolio and the allocation in a company retirement plan is very important. Therefore, we will analyze the investment options and make specific selection recommendations for the client. Doing so ensures their company retirement plan allocation complements the allocation of their other assets.
